Business Listing Policy
Peeptown's standards for business listings, public business information, marketplace display, and listing accuracy.
Introduction
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
This Business Listing Policy ("Policy") explains the principles, standards, and procedures governing business listings published through the Peeptown platform ("Platform"). It describes how business listings are submitted, displayed, managed, claimed, moderated, and maintained, as well as the respective rights and responsibilities of businesses, users, and Peeptown in relation to such listings.
Peeptown operates an online platform that enables users to discover businesses, products, services, and professionals across various industries and geographic locations. The Platform provides businesses with an opportunity to establish an online presence, communicate information about their operations, and engage with customers, while enabling consumers to locate and evaluate businesses through publicly accessible business profiles.
Business listings available on the Platform may be created by business owners, authorized representatives, or other users who are permitted to submit business information through the Platform. The existence of a business listing does not, by itself, indicate that the listed business has entered into a commercial relationship with Peeptown, subscribed to any paid service, obtained verification status, or otherwise endorsed or approved every aspect of the information displayed within the listing.
Peeptown provides the technological infrastructure through which business listings are published and managed but does not represent every listed business, guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information submitted by users, or act as an agent, employee, partner, franchisee, or legal representative of any business appearing on the Platform unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
To preserve the integrity, usefulness, and reliability of the Platform, Peeptown reserves the right to review, organize, categorize, edit formatting, request supporting documentation, restrict visibility, suspend, remove, or otherwise moderate business listings and related content where necessary to enforce this Policy, protect users, comply with applicable laws, safeguard intellectual property rights, prevent fraudulent or misleading conduct, maintain the quality of the Platform, or preserve the overall integrity of the services offered.
This Policy applies to all business listings made available through the Platform, regardless of whether a listing is claimed or unclaimed, free or paid, verified or unverified, active or inactive, and regardless of the country or jurisdiction in which the business operates.
This Policy forms an integral part of Peeptown's legal framework and should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Content Policy, Business Verification Policy, Copyright Policy, and any other applicable policies or guidelines published by Peeptown. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and applicable law, the applicable law shall prevail to the extent required.
