Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy
Reporting Trademark Infringement
Peeptown respects the trademark rights of businesses, organizations, and other rights holders and provides a process for reporting the unauthorized use of trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, slogans, or other brand identifiers on the Platform. If you believe that content available on the Platform infringes your trademark rights or the rights of a person or entity you are authorized to represent, you may submit a trademark infringement complaint for review.
Trademark complaints should be submitted in good faith and must contain sufficient information to enable Peeptown to identify the reported content and evaluate the alleged infringement. Because trademark disputes often involve questions relating to ownership, authorization, likelihood of confusion, or fair use, Peeptown may request additional documentation or clarification before making a determination.
To assist with the review process, a trademark complaint should include, where applicable:
- The full name and contact information of the trademark owner or authorized representative.
- The trademark, business name, logo, or other brand identifier that is the subject of the complaint.
- Details of any trademark registration, where applicable, including the registration number and jurisdiction.
- The URL or other specific location of the allegedly infringing content on the Platform.
- A description explaining how the reported use allegedly infringes your trademark rights or is likely to cause consumer confusion.
- Information demonstrating your ownership of, or authority to act on behalf of, the trademark owner.
- A statement confirming that the information provided is accurate and submitted in good faith.
- Any additional supporting documents or evidence reasonably requested by Peeptown.
Upon receiving a sufficiently complete complaint, Peeptown may review the reported content, request additional information from the parties involved, temporarily restrict access to the content, remove or modify the content where appropriate, suspend related account privileges, or take any other action considered appropriate under this Policy, the Terms of Service, and applicable law.
The submission of a trademark complaint does not automatically result in the removal of content. Peeptown reserves the right to decline complaints that are incomplete, unsupported, abusive, misleading, submitted without proper authority, or that concern matters more appropriately resolved directly between the parties or through a competent legal authority.
Knowingly submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent trademark complaints may result in rejection of the complaint, suspension of Platform privileges, termination of accounts, or other enforcement measures. Peeptown also reserves the right to retain records relating to trademark complaints where necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
