The Peeptown Business Listing Model
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
Peeptown operates as an online business discovery and local commerce platform that enables businesses to establish an online presence and allows users to discover, compare, and connect with businesses across a wide range of industries and locations. The Platform provides the technological infrastructure through which business information may be submitted, published, managed, and made accessible to the public in accordance with this Policy and other applicable Platform policies.
Business Listings available on the Platform are created through user submissions. A Business Listing may be submitted by the Business Owner, an Authorized Representative acting on behalf of the Business, or another User who is permitted to create a listing in accordance with the Platform's Terms of Service and applicable policies. Peeptown provides the means to publish and administer such listings but is not the original publisher or owner of the information submitted by Users.
The publication of a Business Listing on the Platform does not, by itself, establish that the Business has registered with Peeptown, subscribed to any paid service, completed the verification process, entered into a commercial relationship with Peeptown, or reviewed and approved every item of information contained within the listing. Business Listings may therefore exist in either claimed or unclaimed status, depending on whether administrative control has been established through the applicable verification process.
Peeptown maintains a neutral platform and does not act as an agent, broker, distributor, reseller, employee, partner, franchisee, or legal representative of any Business solely because a Business Listing appears on the Platform. The relationship between Peeptown and a listed Business is governed solely by the applicable agreements entered into between the parties, if any. In the absence of such an agreement, the existence of a Business Listing shall not be interpreted as creating any contractual, commercial, fiduciary, employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or other legal relationship.
The Platform is designed to allow Business Listings to evolve over time. Following publication, Business Listings may be claimed by an Authorized Representative, updated by authorized account holders, supplemented through user contributions where permitted, reviewed through applicable moderation processes, or otherwise maintained in accordance with the Platform's policies. Peeptown may also request supporting documentation or additional verification where necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform or to resolve disputes relating to ownership, authenticity, or the accuracy of Business Information.
To maintain a consistent and reliable directory, Peeptown may organize Business Listings using categories, industries, service classifications, geographic information, search indexes, filters, tags, metadata, and other organizational structures. Such classification is intended solely to improve navigation, search functionality, and user experience and should not be interpreted as an endorsement, certification, ranking, legal classification, or guarantee regarding any Business.
The Platform is intended to facilitate business discovery and access to information. While Peeptown establishes standards for the publication and management of Business Listings, the responsibility for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, legality, and continued maintenance of Business Information primarily rests with the Users who submit such information and with Business Owners or Authorized Representatives who subsequently claim or manage their Business Listings.
