Business Verification Policy

The purpose of business verification is to help establish that the individual or organization requesting control of a business profile is reasonably authorized to manage that profile on behalf of the relevant business. The verification process is intended to promote the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of business profile management across the Platform.

Business verification is designed to:

• Confirm, to the extent reasonably practicable, the authority of a claimant to manage a business profile.
• Reduce the risk of unauthorized claims, impersonation, fraudulent activity, and misuse of business profiles.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date business information for Platform users.
• Support the integrity and security of the Platform's business management features.
• Provide businesses with a process for establishing authorized administrative control over their profiles.
• Assist Peeptown in maintaining a trustworthy and transparent business listing environment.

Business verification is an administrative process only. A verified status indicates solely that Peeptown reasonably believes, based on the information available during the verification process, that the verified account is authorized to manage the associated business profile at the time verification is granted.

Verification does not verify or guarantee the legitimacy, legal existence, ownership, licensing, regulatory compliance, financial standing, operational capability, quality, safety, reputation, products, services, customer experience, or ongoing activities of any business. Verification should not be interpreted as an endorsement, certification, accreditation, recommendation, warranty, or approval by Peeptown.

Users remain solely responsible for conducting their own independent assessment and due diligence before relying on any information published on the Platform or engaging with any business, regardless of its verification status.
