Business Verification Policy

Business verification is provided solely as an administrative feature of the Platform to assist in establishing that a claimant has reasonably demonstrated authority to manage a business profile at the time of verification. Verification is based on the information and evidence available during the review process and is subject to the limitations described in this Policy.

15.1 Verification Limitations

Verification is not exhaustive and should not be interpreted as a comprehensive investigation of any business, its owners, representatives, operations, products, services, or activities. Peeptown does not independently audit, inspect, monitor, certify, or continuously verify businesses after verification has been granted unless it determines that additional review is appropriate.

Information relating to a business may change over time, and circumstances that existed during the verification process may no longer be accurate after verification has been completed.

15.2 No Guarantee or Warranty

Peeptown makes no representations or warranties, whether express or implied, regarding any verified business or the verification process. Verification does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, legality, availability, safety, quality, suitability, financial stability, licensing status, regulatory compliance, reputation, or future conduct of any business or its representatives.

Verification should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making commercial, financial, legal, professional, or personal decisions.

15.3 No Certification, Endorsement or Accreditation

Verified Business status does not constitute, and shall not be interpreted as:

• a government approval or authorization;
• a legal certification or regulatory compliance determination;
• a professional accreditation or industry qualification;
• an endorsement, recommendation, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation by Peeptown;
• a guarantee of customer satisfaction or service quality; or
• an assurance that a business is trustworthy, reputable, financially sound, legally compliant, or suitable for any particular purpose.

The verification badge indicates only that Peeptown reasonably believed, at the time verification was granted, that the verified account was authorized to manage the associated business profile.

15.4 Independent Due Diligence

Users remain solely responsible for conducting their own independent investigations, evaluations, and due diligence before contacting, contracting with, purchasing from, investing in, or otherwise engaging with any business listed on the Platform, whether verified or unverified.

Peeptown does not assume responsibility for any decision made by a user based upon the existence or absence of Verified Business status.

15.5 Limitation of Reliance

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Peeptown disclaims liability arising from any reliance placed upon Verified Business status or the verification process. Users acknowledge that verification is only one informational indicator available on the Platform and should not be interpreted as a substitute for independent judgment, professional advice, legal verification, regulatory checks, financial assessment, or any other investigation that may be appropriate under the circumstances.

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
