Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy
User Responsibility for Submitted Content
Users are solely responsible for all content they submit, upload, publish, edit, manage, or otherwise make available through the Peeptown Platform. By submitting content, users represent and warrant that they own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, consents, or other legal authority required to use and publish such content on the Platform.
Users must ensure that their submitted content does not infringe or violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual rights, or any other legal rights of any third party. This responsibility applies to all forms of content, including business names, logos, trademarks, photographs, videos, graphics, product images, descriptions, marketing materials, documents, advertisements, reviews, comments, and any other materials made available through the Platform.
Users must not knowingly submit false ownership claims, impersonate another business or brand, falsely represent themselves as an authorized representative, or upload content that they are not legally entitled to use. Where a user acts on behalf of a business or organization, the user is responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority to manage the relevant business profile and associated content.
Peeptown does not routinely review, verify, or confirm the ownership, licensing, or legal status of every item of user-submitted content before publication. The availability of content on the Platform should not be interpreted as confirmation that Peeptown has verified the authenticity, ownership, legality, or authorization of such content.
Users acknowledge that they remain legally responsible for any intellectual property infringement or other legal violation arising from the content they submit. Users further agree to cooperate with Peeptown in resolving intellectual property disputes by providing additional information, documentation, or evidence of ownership or authorization when reasonably requested.
Where Peeptown determines, or reasonably believes, that submitted content may violate this Policy, applicable law, or the rights of a third party, Peeptown may remove or restrict the content, suspend related account privileges, require additional verification, or take any other action permitted under the Terms of Service and applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy transfers ownership of user-submitted content to Peeptown. Users retain ownership of their intellectual property, subject only to the limited rights granted to Peeptown as necessary to operate, maintain, display, process, and provide the Platform in accordance with the Terms of Service.
