Record Retention
Peeptown may retain records relating to legal requests, complaints, investigations, communications, supporting documents, and enforcement actions for purposes including legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and maintaining the integrity of the Platform.
Records that may be retained include:
- details of submitted complaints and legal requests;
- information provided by requesters and affected parties;
- supporting evidence and documentation;
- communications relating to the review process;
- investigation notes and internal assessments;
- decisions, actions, and enforcement outcomes; and
- records required to comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Peeptown retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including meeting legal obligations, protecting legitimate business interests, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and maintaining Platform security.
Retention periods may vary depending on:
- the nature and seriousness of the matter;
- applicable laws and regulatory requirements;
- whether the information is relevant to ongoing investigations or legal proceedings;
- security and fraud prevention requirements; and
- internal compliance obligations.
Peeptown may preserve relevant records beyond standard retention periods where it is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to legal proceedings, protect rights and interests, or prevent misuse of the Platform.
Access to retained records is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who require access for legitimate business, legal, security, or compliance purposes. Information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Peeptown's Privacy Policy.
