Creation of Business Listings
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
Business Listings are created through submissions made by Users using the functionality provided on the Platform. A Business Listing may be submitted by a Business Owner, an Authorized Representative acting on behalf of a Business, or another User who has a legitimate basis for submitting information about a Business in accordance with this Policy, the Terms of Service, and all applicable laws.
By submitting a Business Listing, the submitting User represents and warrants that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, the information provided is accurate, complete, current, and not knowingly false, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent. Users are responsible for exercising reasonable care to ensure that the information they submit fairly represents the Business and complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Where a User submits a Business Listing on behalf of a Business, the User is responsible for ensuring that they possess the necessary authority, permission, or other lawful basis to submit any information, documents, images, trademarks, logos, or other materials included within the listing. Users must not impersonate a Business, falsely claim authority to represent a Business, or submit information in a manner that infringes the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, contractual rights, or other legal rights of any person or entity.
Business Listings must relate to genuine businesses, organizations, professionals, or commercial activities that lawfully exist or are lawfully intended to operate. Users must not create fictitious businesses, duplicate listings for the same Business without legitimate justification, misleading location pages, keyword-stuffed listings, placeholder listings, or listings intended primarily to manipulate search visibility, mislead consumers, interfere with another Business, or otherwise abuse the Platform.
A Business Listing should contain sufficient information to reasonably identify the Business and enable users of the Platform to understand the nature of its products, services, or operations. Depending on the functionality available at the time of submission, this information may include the Business name, category, description, physical location or service area, contact information, website, operating hours, products, services, images, logos, and any other information requested during the listing creation process.
Submission of a Business Listing does not guarantee that the listing will be published, remain published, receive any particular placement, ranking, visibility, verification status, or continued availability on the Platform. All submitted Business Listings remain subject to Peeptown's review, moderation, verification procedures, technical requirements, quality standards, and other applicable Platform policies. Peeptown reserves the right to decline publication, request additional information, require supporting documentation, suspend publication, or remove a Business Listing where it reasonably determines that doing so is necessary to enforce its policies, comply with applicable law, protect users, safeguard the integrity of the Platform, or resolve disputes relating to the submitted information.
The User who creates a Business Listing acknowledges and agrees that, once published, the listing becomes part of the Platform's searchable business directory and may be displayed through search results, category pages, geographic pages, APIs, mobile applications, integrations, promotional features, and other Platform services, subject to the Platform's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and applicable legal requirements.
Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted as granting the submitting User exclusive ownership or permanent administrative control over a Business Listing. Where Peeptown determines, through its verification procedures, that another individual or entity is the legitimate Business Owner or an Authorized Representative of the Business, administrative control of the Business Listing may be transferred, restricted, or otherwise modified in accordance with the Platform's verification procedures and applicable policies.
