Business Verification Policy
How Peeptown may verify business identity, ownership, authorization, and verified status.
Supporting Documentation
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
Applicants may be required to provide supporting documentation to enable Peeptown to reasonably verify their identity, authority, or relationship to the business associated with a verification request. The type and extent of documentation required may vary depending on the business, industry, jurisdiction, verification method, risk assessment, or other circumstances determined by Peeptown.
Submission of documentation does not guarantee approval of a verification request. Peeptown may request additional information or alternative documentation whenever it reasonably considers such information necessary to complete its review.
7.1 Acceptable Documents
Peeptown may accept one or more forms of documentation that reasonably demonstrate the identity of the applicant, the existence of the business, or the applicant's authority to manage the business profile. The documents accepted may differ between jurisdictions and verification programs.
7.2 Business Registration Records
Applicants may be requested to provide certificates of incorporation, business registration certificates, partnership agreements, corporate filings, regulatory registrations, or other official records demonstrating the existence or legal status of the business.
7.3 Government-Issued Identification
Where appropriate, Peeptown may request a valid government-issued identification document for the individual submitting the verification request. Identification may be used solely for verification, fraud prevention, security, regulatory compliance, or other lawful purposes.
7.4 Proof of Business Address
Applicants may be asked to provide documentation reasonably demonstrating the business's operating or registered address, including utility bills, lease agreements, bank statements, official correspondence, or similar records.
7.5 Business Licenses and Regulatory Documents
Where relevant, Peeptown may request business licenses, permits, professional registrations, tax registrations, regulatory approvals, or other documents demonstrating that the applicant is authorized to operate the business or profession in the applicable jurisdiction.
7.6 Authorization Documents
Where the applicant is acting on behalf of a business, Peeptown may require documentation establishing the applicant's authority, including letters of authorization, employment confirmations, corporate resolutions, agency agreements, franchise documentation, powers of attorney, or other evidence reasonably demonstrating management authority.
7.7 Additional Supporting Evidence
Peeptown may request any additional information or documentation reasonably necessary to verify the applicant's identity, authority, ownership, or relationship to the business. Such information may include official business communications, domain ownership evidence, website administration records, or other supporting materials relevant to the verification request.
7.8 Document Standards
All documents submitted during the verification process must be genuine, accurate, complete, current, and unaltered. Documents must be sufficiently legible to permit reasonable review. Peeptown may decline to accept documents that are incomplete, expired, illegible, misleading, suspected to have been altered, or otherwise unreliable.
Where documents are issued in a language not reasonably understood by Peeptown, applicants may be required to provide an accurate translation. Peeptown may also require notarized, certified, or otherwise authenticated documents where reasonably necessary.
Peeptown reserves the right to verify submitted documentation using independent sources, government records, third-party verification providers, or other lawful means. Submission of false, misleading, fraudulent, forged, manipulated, or unauthorized documentation may result in rejection of the verification request, suspension or revocation of verification, removal of administrative access, account restrictions, or any other action permitted under the Platform's policies or applicable law.
