Business Verification Policy
How Peeptown may verify business identity, ownership, authorization, and verified status.
Maintaining Verification
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
Verified Business status is not permanent and remains subject to ongoing compliance with this Policy, the Platform's Terms of Service, the Business Listing Policy, and all other applicable Platform policies. Businesses are responsible for ensuring that the information supporting their verification remains accurate, complete, and current throughout the period in which their verified status is maintained.
11.1 Accurate and Current Information
Verified businesses must promptly update their business profile and account information whenever there are material changes, including changes to the business name, legal entity, ownership, management, registered address, contact information, website, authorized representatives, licensing status, or other information relevant to verification.
11.2 Ongoing Compliance
Verified businesses must continue to comply with all applicable Platform policies, contractual obligations, and applicable laws and regulations. Failure to maintain compliance may result in additional review, temporary suspension, or revocation of Verified Business status.
11.3 Periodic Reverification
Peeptown may require a verified business to complete reverification at any time. Reverification may be requested on a periodic basis or whenever Peeptown reasonably determines that additional confirmation is necessary due to changes in business information, ownership, account activity, fraud prevention measures, legal requirements, security concerns, or other operational considerations.
Failure to complete a requested reverification within a reasonable period may result in suspension or removal of Verified Business status until the reverification process has been successfully completed.
11.4 Ownership and Management Changes
Where ownership, control, legal structure, or authorized management of a business changes, the verified business must promptly notify Peeptown where such changes may affect the authority of the individual or entity managing the business profile.
Peeptown may require a new verification process before continued administrative access or Verified Business status is granted to the new owner or authorized representative.
11.5 Continuing Monitoring
Peeptown may monitor verified business profiles using automated systems, manual review, public records, third-party information sources, user reports, or other lawful methods to help maintain the integrity of the verification program.
Where Peeptown reasonably believes that verified information is no longer accurate, that verification requirements are no longer satisfied, or that additional review is necessary, Peeptown may request updated information, require reverification, temporarily suspend verification, or revoke Verified Business status in accordance with this Policy.
Verified Business status remains subject to Peeptown's continuing oversight and may be modified, suspended, or revoked at any time where Peeptown reasonably determines that such action is necessary to protect the integrity, security, reliability, or lawful operation of the Platform.
