Emergency Requests
Peeptown recognizes that certain situations may require urgent review and action due to immediate risks involving safety, privacy, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or protection of individuals and businesses.
Emergency requests may be submitted where there is a reasonable belief that a delay in review could result in:
- immediate risk of physical harm;
- significant privacy or security risks;
- ongoing fraudulent activity;
- serious misuse of the Platform;
- destruction or loss of relevant evidence; or
- other urgent circumstances requiring prompt attention.
Emergency requests should clearly identify:
- the requester and their authority to submit the request;
- the nature of the emergency;
- the specific risk or potential harm involved;
- the business profile, content, account, or information affected;
- the requested action; and
- any supporting documentation or evidence available.
Peeptown may prioritize emergency requests and take temporary or immediate measures where appropriate while conducting further review. Such measures may include restricting access, preserving information, limiting Platform functionality, or taking other reasonable actions to address the reported risk.
Peeptown may require additional verification before taking action, particularly where an emergency request involves disclosure of information, account restrictions, or actions affecting the rights of another party.
Submitting a request as an emergency does not guarantee immediate removal, disclosure, suspension, or any specific outcome. Peeptown evaluates each emergency request based on the seriousness of the situation, available evidence, applicable law, and Platform responsibilities.
Where legally permitted, Peeptown may notify affected parties after an emergency action has been taken or when such notification will not compromise safety, security, legal obligations, or an ongoing investigation.
