Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy

Peeptown expects all intellectual property complaints and counter-notifications to be submitted honestly, accurately, and in good faith. The intellectual property reporting process must not be used to harass others, suppress lawful content, gain a competitive advantage, interfere with legitimate business activities, or otherwise abuse the Platform.

Any person submitting a copyright or trademark complaint represents and warrants that they are the intellectual property owner or are legally authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder. Complainants are responsible for ensuring that all information and supporting documentation provided to Peeptown is complete, accurate, and truthful.

Peeptown may reject, dismiss, or take no action on complaints that appear to be incomplete, unsupported, repetitive, abusive, frivolous, malicious, submitted in bad faith, or otherwise inconsistent with this Policy or applicable law. Peeptown may also request additional evidence before proceeding with its review.

Where Peeptown reasonably believes that a complaint or counter-notification contains false statements, misleading information, forged documents, fraudulent claims of ownership, or other material misrepresentations, the Platform may suspend its review, reject the submission, preserve relevant records, and take appropriate enforcement action.

Users must not knowingly submit complaints regarding content they do not own or control, falsely claim exclusive rights to publicly available factual business information, impersonate intellectual property owners, or misuse intellectual property procedures to disrupt or damage another person's business or reputation.

Where appropriate, Peeptown may suspend or terminate accounts, restrict Platform access, reject future complaints from abusive users, cooperate with law enforcement authorities, comply with lawful requests from courts or regulatory authorities, or pursue any other remedies available under applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy limits the legal rights of any person who has been harmed by a knowingly false, fraudulent, or misleading intellectual property claim, nor does it prevent Peeptown from taking action to protect the integrity of its intellectual property complaint process.
