Legal Requests & Complaints Policy
Appeals and Reconsideration
Peeptown recognizes that parties affected by a decision made under this Policy may request a review of that decision where they believe relevant information was not considered, an error occurred, or additional evidence is available.
An appeal or reconsideration request may be submitted by:
- a business owner or authorized representative affected by an enforcement action;
- a user whose content or account activity has been restricted;
- a complainant who believes a request was incorrectly declined; or
- another party with a legitimate interest in the matter.
A request for reconsideration should include:
- identification of the original complaint, request, or decision;
- details explaining why the decision should be reviewed;
- any new information, evidence, or documentation supporting the request; and
- confirmation of the requester's authority or relationship to the matter, where applicable.
Peeptown may review appeals based on:
- whether relevant information was overlooked;
- whether new evidence has been provided;
- whether the original decision was consistent with applicable laws and Platform policies; and
- whether circumstances have materially changed since the original review.
After reconsideration, Peeptown may:
- maintain the original decision;
- modify or reverse a previous action;
- request additional information;
- apply alternative measures; or
- take any other action considered appropriate.
The availability of an appeal or reconsideration process does not create an obligation for Peeptown to reverse a decision or provide a specific outcome. Decisions are made based on the information available, applicable law, Platform policies, and the circumstances of each matter.
Peeptown may establish reasonable limits on repeated appeals where no new information or material change in circumstances has been provided.
