Business Verification Policy

Verified Business status indicates only that Peeptown has completed its verification process and reasonably believes, based on the information available at the time of review, that the verified account is authorized to manage the associated business profile. Verification relates solely to profile management authority and should not be interpreted beyond the scope expressly described in this Policy.

10.1 Meaning of Verification

A verified business profile signifies that the verification request has been approved in accordance with Peeptown's verification procedures. Verification reflects Peeptown's assessment of the information reasonably available at the time of review and does not constitute a continuing assessment or guarantee of the business or its operations.

10.2 Verified Badge

Verified businesses may display a verification badge, indicator, label, or similar designation on the Platform. The appearance, availability, design, eligibility requirements, and functionality of any verification badge are determined solely by Peeptown and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

The absence of a verification badge does not imply that a business is illegitimate, unsafe, or unauthorized, and the presence of a verification badge should not be interpreted as evidence of superior quality, trustworthiness, or reliability.

10.3 Scope of Verification

Unless expressly stated otherwise by Peeptown in writing, verification confirms only that the claimant has reasonably demonstrated authority to manage the business profile.

Verification does not confirm, certify, or guarantee:

• the legal existence or continued operation of a business;
• business ownership beyond the authority demonstrated during verification;
• licensing, permits, registrations, or regulatory compliance;
• financial stability, solvency, or creditworthiness;
• professional qualifications, certifications, or industry accreditations;
• the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any products or services;
• customer satisfaction, business reputation, ratings, or reviews;
• the accuracy or completeness of all information published on the Platform; or
• the future conduct, performance, or reliability of the business or its representatives.

10.4 No Endorsement or Certification

Verified Business status does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, accreditation, approval, partnership, sponsorship, warranty, guarantee, or representation by Peeptown regarding any business, individual, organization, product, service, or commercial activity.

No user should interpret verification as an assurance that a business is reputable, financially sound, legally compliant, professionally qualified, or appropriate for any particular transaction or purpose.

10.5 Ongoing Responsibility

Verified businesses remain solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, completeness, and ongoing maintenance of the information published through their business profiles. Verification does not transfer responsibility for profile content or business activities to Peeptown.

Users are solely responsible for conducting their own independent evaluation, due diligence, and risk assessment before engaging with any business listed on the Platform, regardless of whether the business displays Verified Business status.

Peeptown may review, suspend, revoke, remove, or modify Verified Business status at any time in accordance with this Policy where it reasonably believes that verification requirements are no longer satisfied or that continued verification is no longer appropriate.
