Accuracy and Maintenance of Business Information
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
Maintaining accurate and reliable Business Information is essential to the integrity of the Platform and to the ability of users to make informed decisions. Peeptown encourages all Business Owners, Authorized Representatives, and Users who submit or manage Business Listings to ensure that the information published on the Platform is accurate, complete, current, and capable of being reasonably verified at the time it is submitted or updated.
Business Owners and Authorized Representatives who have administrative control of a Business Listing are expected to review their listings periodically and promptly update any information that has become inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Material changes relating to the Business, including changes to its legal name, trading name, address, service areas, contact information, operating hours, products, services, pricing, licensing, website, or other significant business details, should be reflected on the Platform within a reasonable period after such changes occur.
Users who submit Business Information prior to a Business Listing being claimed should exercise reasonable care to ensure that the information they provide is truthful and based on information they reasonably believe to be accurate. Users should not knowingly submit inaccurate, misleading, fabricated, or obsolete information or intentionally omit material facts that could create a false or misleading impression of a Business.
Although Peeptown may implement moderation procedures, verification mechanisms, automated validation systems, and other quality assurance measures intended to improve the reliability of Business Information, the Platform cannot guarantee that every Business Listing will remain continuously accurate, complete, or up to date. Business operations, ownership, contact details, services, regulatory status, and other information may change over time, and such changes may not be immediately reflected on the Platform.
Peeptown reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, to review, verify, request clarification regarding, temporarily restrict, edit formatting, suspend, or remove Business Information where it reasonably believes that the information is inaccurate, misleading, inconsistent, outdated, unlawful, infringes the rights of another person, violates this Policy, or otherwise affects the integrity, security, or reliability of the Platform. Where appropriate, Peeptown may request supporting documentation before publishing, modifying, or restoring Business Information.
Businesses and Users may notify Peeptown if they believe that Business Information appearing on the Platform is materially inaccurate or requires correction. Submission of a correction request does not guarantee that the requested change will be implemented. Peeptown may review the request, request additional information, or decline to make changes where the available evidence is insufficient, conflicting, or otherwise does not reasonably support the requested modification.
The maintenance of accurate Business Information is a continuing responsibility. Failure to maintain accurate information may result in reduced visibility of a Business Listing, temporary restrictions on certain Platform features, suspension of administrative privileges, removal of specific content, or other actions permitted under this Policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable law where such action is reasonably necessary to protect users or maintain the integrity of the Platform.
Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted as creating an obligation for Peeptown to independently investigate, continuously monitor, or verify every item of Business Information submitted to the Platform. Responsibility for the accuracy of Business Information primarily remains with the individuals who submit, manage, or control such information, subject to Peeptown's rights to moderate and administer the Platform in accordance with its policies and applicable legal requirements.
