Business Listing Policy
Peeptown's standards for business listings, public business information, marketplace display, and listing accuracy.
Scope and Application
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
This Business Listing Policy applies to every business listing, business profile, business page, location page, branch profile, professional profile, organization profile, storefront, and any other business-related presence published, displayed, or otherwise made available through the Peeptown Platform, regardless of the industry, business type, geographic location, or method by which the listing was submitted.
This Policy applies to all individuals and entities that interact with business listings on the Platform, including but not limited to business owners, authorized representatives, employees, agents, administrators, contributors, customers, visitors, registered users, and any other person who creates, submits, edits, claims, verifies, manages, reports, accesses, or otherwise interacts with a business listing or related business information.
The provisions of this Policy apply to both claimed and unclaimed business listings, regardless of whether a listing is published under a free service, a paid subscription, a promotional program, a verification program, or any other offering made available by Peeptown. The obligations and standards described in this Policy continue to apply irrespective of the level of service or commercial relationship, if any, between Peeptown and the business.
This Policy governs all business-related information published on or through the Platform, including but not limited to business names, descriptions, categories, addresses, contact information, websites, business hours, products, services, pricing information, images, logos, videos, promotional materials, operating locations, service areas, booking information, social media links, customer enquiries, verification status, ratings, reviews, responses, and any other information associated with a business listing.
The Policy applies throughout the entire lifecycle of a business listing, including its creation, publication, review, moderation, ownership claim, verification, editing, maintenance, suspension, reinstatement, archival, and removal. It also applies to any updates, corrections, modifications, or additional information submitted after a listing has been published.
This Policy applies to all features, applications, websites, mobile applications, APIs, integrations, and other services operated by or on behalf of Peeptown that display or utilize business listing information, unless a separate service-specific policy expressly states otherwise.
Nothing in this Policy limits Peeptown's ability to adopt additional standards, technical requirements, verification procedures, industry-specific guidelines, or supplemental policies applicable to particular business categories, regulated industries, geographic regions, or Platform features. Where such supplemental policies apply, they shall be read together with this Policy and shall form part of the overall rules governing the relevant business listings.
Users and businesses are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform and the information they submit complies not only with this Policy but also with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, intellectual property rights, privacy obligations, and other legal requirements applicable within the jurisdictions in which they operate. Where applicable law imposes obligations that differ from or exceed the requirements of this Policy, the applicable law shall prevail to the extent required.
