Reporting Copyright Infringement
Peeptown respects the rights of copyright owners and provides a process for reporting alleged copyright infringement occurring on the Platform. If you believe that content available on the Platform infringes your copyright or the copyright of a person or entity you are authorized to represent, you may submit a copyright infringement notice for review.
A copyright infringement notice should be submitted in good faith and should include sufficient information to allow Peeptown to identify the allegedly infringing material and evaluate the claim. Depending on the circumstances, Peeptown may request additional information or supporting documentation before taking action.
To help us process your request efficiently, a copyright complaint should include, where applicable:
- The full name and contact information of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- A description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The URL or other specific location of the allegedly infringing content on the Platform.
- A description explaining how the reported content allegedly infringes your copyright.
- Information reasonably demonstrating your ownership of, or authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- A statement confirming that the information provided is accurate and that the complaint is submitted in good faith.
- Any other information or supporting documentation reasonably requested by Peeptown during the review process.
Upon receiving a sufficiently complete complaint, Peeptown may acknowledge receipt of the notice, review the reported content, request additional information from the parties involved, temporarily restrict access to the content, remove the content, or take any other action considered appropriate under this Policy, the Terms of Service, and applicable law.
Submitting a copyright complaint does not automatically result in the removal of content. Peeptown reserves the right to evaluate each complaint individually and may decline to act where the complaint is incomplete, unsupported, fraudulent, abusive, outside the scope of applicable copyright law, or otherwise lacking sufficient evidence.
Knowingly submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent copyright complaints may result in the rejection of the complaint, suspension of Platform privileges, termination of accounts, or other appropriate action. Peeptown also reserves the right to preserve records relating to copyright complaints where required for legal, regulatory, or dispute resolution purposes.
