Business Verification Policy
How Peeptown may verify business identity, ownership, authorization, and verified status.
Approval, Rejection and Additional Review
Effective May 10, 2026. Last updated May 10, 2026.
Following completion of the verification review process, Peeptown may approve, reject, defer, or otherwise determine the outcome of a verification request based on the information reasonably available at the time of assessment. Verification decisions are made in accordance with this Policy and are subject to Peeptown's reasonable judgment and applicable law.
9.1 Approval
A verification request may be approved where Peeptown reasonably determines that the applicant has provided sufficient information and evidence demonstrating authority to manage the relevant business profile. Upon approval, the business profile may receive Verified Business status and any associated Platform features or administrative privileges that Peeptown makes available.
Approval of a verification request does not create any ownership rights in the business profile, nor does it limit Peeptown's ability to review, suspend, revoke, or modify the verified status in accordance with this Policy.
9.2 Rejection
A verification request may be rejected where, including but not limited to:
- the applicant fails to demonstrate sufficient authority to manage the business profile;
- required information or documentation is incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or unavailable;
- submitted documents appear to be altered, misleading, fraudulent, expired, or otherwise unreliable;
- conflicting ownership or management claims remain unresolved;
- the applicant fails to respond to requests for additional information within a reasonable period;
- Peeptown reasonably suspects fraud, impersonation, unauthorized activity, or abuse of the verification process; or
- the applicant otherwise fails to satisfy the requirements of this Policy or other applicable Platform policies.
9.3 Pending or Additional Review
Peeptown may place a verification request under additional review where further assessment is reasonably necessary. During this period, Peeptown may request supplementary documentation, conduct enhanced verification procedures, consult independent data sources, or perform additional fraud prevention or compliance checks before reaching a final decision.
9.4 Repeat Applications
An applicant whose verification request has been rejected may submit a new verification request if the circumstances giving rise to the rejection have materially changed or if additional information becomes available. Peeptown may decline to reconsider repetitive, abusive, or substantially identical applications that do not address the reasons for the previous decision.
9.5 No Obligation to Approve
Submission of a verification request does not create any right or entitlement to receive Verified Business status. Peeptown is under no obligation to approve any verification request, provide reasons for every decision, disclose internal review criteria, or continue offering any verification program or associated benefits.
Peeptown reserves the right to approve, reject, defer, suspend, revoke, or reconsider any verification decision where it reasonably believes that doing so is necessary to protect the integrity, security, reliability, or lawful operation of the Platform, its users, or the verification process.
